Free Intro to Flamenco Videos!

Free Intro to Flamenco Videos!

December 4, 2014 Posted by rina@rinaorellana.com Flamenco Craft & Practice, Flamenco Dance, Learning Flamenco, Palos - Flamenco Rhythms No Comments

Starting to learn flamenco is a funny thing. People that have come to my new beginners classes are either energized or overwhelmed by all the new material.

They’ve also always asked if there was a video to follow along to or to review. Well, here is “un cachito de flamenco”. “Cachito” means a little piece, as in the tangos estribillo “a le le le, cachito de pan, a le le le, cachito de pan….”

I’ve created a brief INTRO TO FLAMENCO video series that covers a basic 12 count and includes:

Palmas I

Palmas II

Basic Hand Movements

Basic Arm Movement with Hands

Front Marking

Side Marking

Front Marking with Arms & Hands

Side Marking with Arms & Hands

Intro to Flamenco Review

Each video is a short lesson that can be played repeatedly for learning. They’re featured in my Online Flamenco Studio so go there to view more. 🙂

Muchas Gracias! ~Rina
